Mamuju, W Sulawesi (ANTARA News) - State electricity company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) plans to build a thermal power plant with a capacity of 2x25 megawatts at Bambu village in West Sulawesi province in 2014, an official said.
The project was part of the company's long-term programs to anticipate the ever increasingly higher power demand in line with the rapid development growth in the province, the head of PLN's branch in Mamuju, I Nyoman Sueca saud here on Wednesday.
"To build the thermal power plant we will team up with a private company. We have not yet calculated how much the construction of the power plant will cost," he said.
