Some 35 New Mamuju DPRD Members To Be Installed Soon
Mamuju (ANTARA Sulsel) - A total of elected 35 Regional Represenative Council (DPRD) of Mamuju regency, West Sulawesi province, will be installed on August 28, 2009.
Secretary of the DPRD of Mamuju, Ilyas Nosy said here Wednesday all the preparations for the inauguration had already been done.
He said the composition of the elected people's representatives in this region consisted of five from Golkar party, five from the Democtic party, four from PAN, three from the Patriotic Party, one from the Partai Barisan Nasional, two from the Welfare and Justice Party, three from the PDI-P, four from Hanura, one from PDK, two from PB, one from Partai Republik Nusantara, one from PPP, two form PPD, and one from PBR.
Nosy said the tasks facing the new DPRD members include improving the quality of human resources, increasing the people's economy, and improving the existing democratic system.
