Makassar, South Sulawesi (ANTARA Sulsel) - The chairman of South Sulawesi Healthcare Agency dr Rahmat Latief said here Monday that the Crisis Centre for East Indonesia had sent medical personnel and pharmaceuticals to help Manokwari earthquake victims in West Papua.

"We have sent medics and medical supplies to Manokwari," Rahmat said.

According to him, the medical personnel sent to Manokwari consisted of orthopedics, cardiologists, pediatricians, and anesthesiologists.

Moreover, the crisis centre has also sent medicines such as antibiotics, analgesics, and liquid for infusion. The aid he said were sent to Manokwari by a Hercules cargo plane. (T.H-AFA/A014)
