Makassar (ANTARA Sulsel) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said he had handed over the names of prospective ambassadors to the House of Representatives (DPR) to give them the fit and proper test.

"The names of prospective ambassadors have been handed to the DPR," Jokowi said here on Saturday.

Asked when the fit and proper test would be given to the ambassador candidates, the president said he was unsure and would let the reporters to ask the DPR.

Jokowi also said he forgot how many were filed into the new ambassadors, but he added that the number was large enough.

The names of new ambassador candidates that have circulated previously are:

2. Athena - Ferry Adamhar
3. Bogota - Priyo Iswanto
4. Canberra - Kristiarto Legowo
5. Dili - Sahat Sitorus
6. Jenewa - Hasan Kleib
7. Kabul - Major General Arief Rachman
8. Colombo - Ngurah Ardiyasa
9. Kiev - Professor Yuddy Chrisnandi
10. Manama - Nur Syahrir Rahardjo
11. Rome - Esti Andayani
12. Seoul - Umar Hadi
13. Vienna - Darmansjah Djumala
14. New Delhi - Arto Suryo-di-puro
15. Dhaka - Rina Soemarno
