Makassar, S Sulawesi (Antara Sulsel) - Makassar city, capital of South Sulawesi province, is ready to host the 5th Indonesia Quality Expo (IQE) from Oct 24 to 26, 2017, a spokesman said.
The expo will feature a number of events, including the National Seminar on Standardization involving about 600 people, a Scientific Meeting and Presentations on Standardization, a Conference on Technical Laboratory and Inspection Agency, as well as the Indonesian Standardization Community (Mastan) gathering, spokesman of the National Standardization Agency (BSN), Budi Rahardjo, said here on Wednesday (April 12).
South Sulawesi province has so far demonstrated its commitment in implementing the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) in South Sulawesi Declaration 2016, Budi stated.
"BSN strongly supports South Sulawesi`s commitment through various cooperation programs," he added.
According to Budi, standardized-products with SNI are very important in the era of global trade, one of which protects the customers.
