Bantaeng, S Sulawesi (ANTARA News) - Japan said it is interested in small and medium scale business companies (UKM) in Bantaeng regency, South Sulawesi, the Indonesian ambassador to Japan said.
Chairwoman of the Bantaeng Family Planning Movement (PKK) Lies F Nurdin told a regional working meeting here on Wednesday that she had been telephoned by the Indonesian ambassador from Tokyo to make the necessary preparations of UKM products from the region.
The request is for a new market opportunity for UKM products which had been sold only in Makassar and regions near Bantaeng, she said. (H-NG/a014)
