Mamuju, W Sulawesi (ANTARA Sulbar) - A new cooking oil factory of the Astra Group, built in Mamuju Utara in cooperation with the West Sulawesi provincial administration will come on stream in May.
Community Development Area Manager (CDAM) Sulawesi 1 of PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk, Triyanto said construction of the factory has been 90 percent completed.
Construction of the factory with a annual production capacity of 2,000 tons of palm cooking oil is estimated to cost Rp1.5 trillion, Triyanto said here on Wednesday.
He said the factory, located at the village of Ako in the sub-district of Pasangkayu, will be the largest cooking oil factory in Sulawesi.
