Makassar, S Sulawesi (Antaranews Sulsel) - Indonesian Entrepreneurs Association (APINDO) South Sulawesi provincial office in Makassar and the Faculty of Industrial Technology of the Indonesian Muslim University (FTI-UMI) will hold a business summit, an official said.
"It will be the first of its kind to be held by FTI UMI-APINDO in Indonesia," Muammar Muhayang, chairman of the APINDO Makassar office said here on Wednesday.
"So far the mindset of our community members has been to become civil servants or professional workers in large companies after graduating from the college," Muhayang stated.
Only very few who think to become an entrepreneur by pioneering a business from a small one that will later develop into an industry that can compete.
The mindset has to be changed. Now is time of digitalization technologies and those who fail to follow the development will be eroded by time.
The FTI UMI-APINDO Business Summit 2018 will bring the theme "Time to Become Entrepreneur" and is expected to be carried out on Wednesday-Thursday, April 18-19, 2018 in the Campus II of UMI in the Urip Sumoharjo Street, in Makassar.
