No Blackouts During Fasting Month, PLN Says

Mamuju, W Sulawesi (ANTARA News) - State electricity company PT PLN covering Manakarra, Mamuju regency, West Sulawesi, assured that there would be no blackouts during the Muslim fasting month of Ramadhan this year.

"There will be no alternate blackouts during the fasting month, except during damage of the hydro-power station PLTA Bakaru Pinrang, South Sulawesi, or any other power plants," head of PLN's Manakarra chapter,Agus Salim, said in Mamuju Wednesday.

He assured that power supply problems had been overcome well, so that PLN concluded that there would be no blackouts during the Ramadhan.
