Justice Minister : Indonesia Facing Three Main Enemies

Mamuju, West Sulawes (ANTARA News) - Indonesia is currently facing three main enemies that would require unity to fight them, justice and human rights minister Patrialis Akbar said here on Saturday.
"The first enemy is terrorism that is currently overwhelming the nation. Terrorism damages moral principles because it causes destruction and claims lives," he said when officially opening the regional office of the ministry of justice.
The minister said the second enemy is narcotics because around 50 percent of 135,000 inmates in state penitentiaries now are narcotics users.
The third enemy meanwhile is corruption, he said, because corruption has caused poverty as the state budget has been misused and could not be maximally used for the people.
"The three main enemies must be overcome and fought so that they vanish and the way to fight them is through united efforts from all elements of the nation," he said. (T.H-YH)
