Sungguminasa, S Sulawesi (ANTARA News) - Search for a landslide victim, Muis bin Saleh (20), was stopped by the SAR team and Gowa disaster unit due to very bad weather covering Gowa regency, South Sulawesi. Â
Secretary of Datara village, Tompobulu subdistrict Zainuddin said here Friday that the search for the landslide victim had to be halted due to continued heavy railfall.
Heavy rainfall in the upper reaches of Esere river caused the river stream in the hills of Lompobattang to grow very wild. A number of farmers also had to stop their farming activities.
In the meantime, a number of heavy equipment had already started to make wawy in the landslide area.
Earlier on Friday at 4 pm, some villagers and a SAR team found the victim's kid brother, Syarif bin Saleh (18) who was gone missing since Sunday.(H-NG/A014)
