Bhutan to Study Community Development in Sulawesi

Makassar, S.Sulawesi (ANTARA News) - The government of Bhutan will study the practice of community development in South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi and Gorontalo provinces.
The press release obtained from the consular office of Japan here Monday explained, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the ministry of domestic affairs of Indonesia will be the host of the technical exchange programs for community development between the royal government of Bhutan and the Republic of Indonesia government.
A total of ten staff member of the royal government of Bhutan will visit Indonesia, especially to the three regions in Sulawesi from 29 November to 9 December 2011.
JICA is currently implementing a technical cooperation on capacity development project in Sulawesi that aims to form an effective collaboration mechanism between the public and the administration to facilitate community development.
The team from Bhutan will study community development in Takalar district, South Sulawesi and Wakatobi, Southeast Sulawesi as well as Gorontalo provinces. The three regions are the best in capacity development projects in Sulawesi.
The working team will conduct a brainstorming meeting and create an action plan to take advantage of what has been learned in the field visit in the three areas and report the results to the ministry of domestic affairs.
