After Quake Gas Spouts Again Emerge
Mamuju, West Sulawesi (ANTARA News) - Following the earthquake in Kasano and Sinjani villages, Baras subdistrict, North Mamuju regency, West Sulawesi, several gas spouts emerged in the area.
Habibi (28) a resident of Salu Kaili coast, Kasano village, Baras subdistrict, said following the 5.3-magnitude quake which shook Matra, several bio-gas spouts emerged again after several spouts of biogas emerged in several places in the oil palm plantation.
"The people chose to stay away of the affected locaton for fear the gas spouts may affect their welfare and health," he added. (T.SYS/H-YH)
