Mamuju Airport Facilities Being Addressed

Mamuju, W Sulawesi (ANTARA Sulbar) - The facilities at Tampapandang airport in Mamuju district, West Sulawesi, continue to be addressed to improve services at the airport that was built in 1978.

A number of facilities have been addressed in order to improve services for the comfort of passengers, Tampapandang airport spokesman Suparno remarked here Saturday.

Public space and office space at the airport that was once barren is now equipped with a beautiful flower garden with diverse plants, according to him.

Tampapandang is the only airport in Mamuju that serves Garuda Indonesia Airlines, Wing Air, and Avia Star.

"Currently, Tampa Padang Mamuju airport has a runway which is 1,500 meters long and 45 meters wide, and is able to accommodate ATR 72-600 aircraft, CRJ 1000 Nextgen, and Boeing 737-200/300/400," he said.
