Mamuju, W Sulawesi (ANTARA News) - The West Sulawesi administration confirmed that Merpati Airlines will be flying over Mamuju- Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, to serve the people in the area.

"We have asked Merpati to immediately open the new Mamuju-Balikpapan-Makassar route," W Sulawesi Governor Anwar Adnan Saleh said here Thursday. 

"We will also ask Merpati to change its flight schedule and start the Mamuju-Makassar flight to step up public service, by not  waiting waiting  for arrival of the plane, but the plane waiting for the passengers," he said. (H-NG/a014)
