Mamasa, W Sulawesi (ANTARA News) - A flash flood and landslide killed at least 10 people at East Batangharu village, Mamasa district, West Sulawesi province, on Thursday evening, Mamasa district head Ramlan Badawi said.

They were found dead after being carried away by water currents, he said by his cellular phone.

The death toll may increase as rescue workers are still searching for other victims.

"There may be still other victims who have not been found. We are searching for other victims," he said.
