Experts at the workshop hail from distinguished institutions such as Monash University, the University of Sydney, the University of Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), and UNHAS.
To holistically approach the matter, the workshop welcomed clinicians ranging from neurologists to GPs, nurses, and physiotherapists from both hospital and Puskesmas settings.

They were chaired by Professor Richard Lindley, a globally renowned stroke physician from the University of Sydney, with co-chair Associate Professor Andi Masyitha Irwan, Ph.D. from UNHAS.
