PT Antam Sends Relief Aid to Quake Victims
Makassar (ANTARA Sulsel) - PT Antam Tbk has since September 3, 2009, been sending relief aid to the victims of last Wednesday's 7.3-magnitude quake which hit Tasikmalaya, West Java.
The state mining company had dispatched an Emergency Response Group (ERG) team to help evacuate victims and provide foodstuffs and medical supplies, Antam general affairs and Corporate Social Responsibility director Denny Maulasa said here Friday.
Initial relief aid is dispatched to the areas most hard hit by the quake in South Cianjur, West Java.
He also assured in relation to the quake, the gold mining operations in Pongkor, West Java, and the gold project in Cibaliung, Banten, were not disrupted.
