"This is an order for the chief prosecutor to immediately arrest the law fugitives," said Junior Attorney General Edwin P Situmorang of the Attorney General Intelligence department here on Friday.
Edwin said it is the main priority to arrest three fugitives suspects or convicts in the same corruption case.
He said one of the fugitives Hamid Rahim Sese is already convicted based on a decision of the Supreme Court but the verdict has not been executed .
Hamid was convicted for corruption in Rp3.4 billion case of clearing 6 hectares of land for the Celebes Convention Center (CCC) in Makassar.
Two other fugitives , director of A3 Sengkang H Tajang and the operation director of PT Adiyta Rezky Abadi (ARA) Syarifuddin Ashari are also still at large since last year.
The two fugitives are suspects in corruption case involving tens of billions of rupiah in state fund.
Syarifuddin is a suspect is a similar case involving fund belonging to another state lender Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) Syariah of Makassar branch causing a loss of Rp44 billion to state fund.
"The prosecution office should arrest them immediately. We in the intelligence department has been repeatedly reprimanded for the slow process of upholding the law on the three fugitives," he said.
Edwin said a task force of the attorney general office has arrested at least 30 corruption suspects and convicts including two law fugitives of the South Sulawesi prosecution office.
The two fugitives PT ARA director Djusmin Dawi and drug suspect Andi Mappiwajo were arrested in different places.
