Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The national flag carrier Garuda Indonesia needs a total of 1,000 fresh cabin crew in 2013, an official of the state-owned airline has said.
So far Indonesia has recruited 2,600 cabin crew, the Garuda Indonesia Training Expert (GITC) Uton Wartono said here on Thursday.
According to him, the country has set a target to have a total of 4,000 cabin crew until 2015, adding that every month Garuda received at least 40 cabin crew from across the country either through online or walk in interview application systems.
There are two classes of training organized by the Garuda Indonesia Training Expert namely the Basic Commercial Course the Flight Attendant Course, he said.
During 2012, some 400 students have completed their studies in GITC who most of them are the cabin crew, he added. (KR-BSR/B003)
