Makassar (Antaranews Sulsel) - Floods, triggered by incessant heavy rains, inundated Makassar and Gowa District in South Sulawesi Province on Wednesday.
In Makassar, the flooding affected the sub-districts of Manggala, Biringkanaya, and Rappocini, Muhammad Rusli, head of the Makassar disaster mitigation office, remarked.
Floods also affected the villages of Panakkukang, Bontorea, and Pallangga in Gowa District.
In Panakkukang Village, a total of 275 homes were inundated, according to Abdullah Sirajuddin, spokesman of the Gowa district administration.
Gowa District Head Adnan Purichta Ichsan has ordered his subordinates to help the flood victims.
