Makassar (ANTARA Sulsel) - The body of Markus Rante Allo' (40), who was shot dead by unknown persons at the premises of PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI), Papua, has arrived at Makassar's Hasanuddin Makassar airport on Monday evening.
In the company of his wife Dinasti Lino Pandang (25), daughter Palem (1), and some other relatives, as well as three representatives from the PTFI, the arrival of Markus Rante Allo's body was welcomed with tears by about 50 relatives and neighbors from Tana Toraja and Makassar at the cargo terminal of the airport.
The remains of Markus Rante Allo was flown from Timika airport in Kilangin at 5.30 p.m, and scheduled to return to his hometown of Tonglo in Makale, Toraja regency, South Sulawesi Monday night.
The location of his burial would first be discussed by his relatives.
Markus Rante was driving his patrol car along with two of his friends, Edy Jawaro and Pieter Bunga, when he was shot at by unidentified people.
Markus Rante was killed with a shot wound in his back.
