Makassar (ANTARA) - The International Office (IO) of Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) hosted an Info Session on Study Overseas and Scholarship Opportunities on Friday, January 17, 2025, starting at 9:30 AM Makassar time. Organized in collaboration with the International Development Program (IDP) Makassar Branch Office, the session featured a representative from the University of Warwick (UW), United Kingdom.
The event was moderated by Saaduddin, Ph.D., (IO Task Force for Immigration and International Student Affairs), and officially opened by Khairuddin, Ph.D., (IO Task Force for Students Mobility), who represented the Head of IO. In his opening remarks, Mr. Khaeruddin emphasized the IO's role in promoting international mobility programs and highlighted its various initiatives, including the International Cultural Program (ICP), Geography Series (GS), and the International Students Festival.

Ms. Andi Fitryana representing IDP Makassar, introduced IDP’s services in assisting students planning to study in the UK or Australia. Her presentation provided comprehensive guidance on navigating admissions processes and choosing the right programs.
Following this, Mr. Imran Hashim, the representative from the University of Warwick delivered an engaging presentation on admission requirements and scholarship opportunities. Using clear and accessible English, he captivated the audience, sparking interest and prompting numerous questions during the interactive Q&A session.
In her closing remarks, Andi Masyitha Irwan, Ph.D., the Head of IO, expressed her gratitude to IDP and UW representatives for sharing valuable insights. She also appreciated the active participation of attendees and encouraged them to join future IO programs. The session concluded with a photo opportunity and the presentation of a token of appreciation to the University of Warwick representative.

By organizing this info session, the IO reaffirmed its commitment to providing the UNHAS academic community with opportunities to explore global education and scholarship options.
