
Makassar Health Department Improves Quality Of Doctors

"To improve the services of the health sector is one of the priorities of the Makassar city government," local Health Department Chief Dr Naisyah Tun Azikin remarked here Friday.
Makassar, South Sulawesi (ANTARA Sulsel) - The Makassar City Health Department in South Sulawesi continues to improve the quality of human resources such as doctors and paramedics at the local community healthcare centers (Puskesmas).
"To improve the services of the health sector is one of the priorities of the Makassar city government," local Health Department Chief Dr Naisyah Tun Azikin remarked here Friday.
At least 35 doctors had undergone training to improve their quality and competence, he said.
Increasing the ability of healthcare workers will continue to be done in order to provide excellent service to the community, Naisyah said.
Health workers such as doctors, nurses and midwives assigned in the Puskesmas are the spearhead of the Makassar city government health service, he said.
"That is why we are improving the quality of health workers in the community healthcare centers here," he noted.
