Makassar (ANTARA Sulsel) - PT International Nickel Indonesia (PT Inco) Tbk said the construction of a nickel processing plant in Pomalaa, Southeast Sulawesi had been declared economically unfeasible.
Under our commitment to the government, the report to that effect had been submitted to the government on April 30, 2009, Corporate Public and Media Relations of PT Inco Rajeshanagara S said in Jakarta when asked to confirm from Makassar Tuesday.
PT Inco has already submitted the report to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, following the discontinuation of the nickel ore supplies to PT Antam in mid-2008.
