Makassar (ANTARA) - Hasanuddin University Holds the Preparation of Global EPICS Workshop Plan Meeting Presenting Arizona State University Higher Education Partnership Initiatives USAID
As a collaboration of Hasanuddin University with USAID Higher Education Partnership Initiatives (HEPI), Arizona State University (ASU) continues, a Zoom meeting under the topic of Global Engineering Projects in Community Services (EPICS) workshop plan was carried out on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
Presenting Jared Schoepf, Ph.D from ASU. The meeting was joined by Abdul Rahman, Ph.D. (Country Director of USAID HEPI Project), Menuk Primawati (USAID HEPI Project Program Coordinator), Muhammad Ridwan, M.A. (International Office), Muhammad Kurnia, Ph.D. (Head of Community Service Program) and lectures acting as UNHAS Supervisors of Community Service Program.
The meeting began with a welcome speech by Abdul Rahman, Ph.D and Muhammad Ridwan, M.A. Both expressed their gratitude for joining this workshop plan. Mr. Ridwan continued by introducing several important participants, particularly Mr. Kurnia as the Head of the Community Service Program.
The meeting moved on from the presentation by Jared. He started with the explanation of Global EPICS, including the definition, phases, program snapshot, human-centered design process, project-focused themes, and many more.
His presentation employed such an interactive session. Many times, the participants asked questions in the middle of his presentation.
